49 cab shackles

anybody replace the rubber bushings. my cab looks like it sits a little low in the back. could it be the shackle bushings

It could be. the whole cab mount kit is only about 20 dollars from most vendors. The measurements between the cab and the frame are in the Assembly manual and I thought I had a copy on Photobucket but couldn't find it and I am at work.

Here is the page for the rear cab mount and shackle. It shows .76 of an inch between floor and frame.

I hope that helps.

The shims between the upper shackle bracket and the floorboards is a new thing to me.

just changed my bushings and it had the shim
