Re: New Look
The black wheels with front chrome really made it "pop". I like it. I'm on the fence

Looks great to me, I like it with the chrome grill and bumper and black rallies best.

Re: New Look
Im not a tint guy but otherwise I like the new look. I wonder what the grill surround would look like painted black?

Re: New Look
Thanks for the replys guys. Keep em coming. I guess the best part is if I don't like it I still have the old parts. Powder coated the wheels so that ain't such an easy swap. I changed them instead of buying bigger chrome as of just yet.

Re: New Look
I like all the bright trim. I'm not a fan of black painted rallies. I'm not a fan of white either, though. I think silver rallies would look great with all the other bright work.
Of course, you don't have to worry about impressing me, it's your truck. Do what makes you happy.

Re: New Look
I like the changes you made from first to second pic.
However, I vote for no tinted windows. Also, like CG mentioned, try the black grill surround idea - maybe flat or semigloss black against flat gray.

Re: New Look
It looks good, I'd say that the black ralleys look a lot better in person than they do in photographs . Black stuff like that is hard to carry off in photographs without special lighting.

Re: New Look
Thanks al. Don't worry I still have other wheels and air on my mind. Just for now it will remain like this cuz I had to get the rest of drivetrain in order. Most recently was the rear end...which turned out to be more of an expense than I thought. Like always I guess!
So I'll rock this look for now. Hey, there is always next winter. |

Re: New Look
Looks great! I'm on the fence on which wheels I like better, but both look good.
Have you tried the painted bezels around the headlights? I'm on the fence with my own and don't have the shineys to compare...

Re: New Look
Had the original painted ones on before. Least I think they were originals cuz they are quite a bit heavier and bulkier than the new ones I got from Brothers.

Re: New Look
That's because the painted ones are steel, and the "bright" trim is clear anodized polished aluminum.
