Frame swap

I have a '67 CST long bed in rough shape. I bought a mostly complete '88 Silverado to get the sportside bed for the '67 with plans for a short bed build. How difficult would it be to mount the '67 cab and front sheet metal to the '88 frame?? Any one tried this yet? It will have a 454/700R. I also have access to a power steering '69 short bed frame in excellent condition. Any input will be appreciated.

P.S. I did get new repro radiator support, bed support rails, front wide bed panel, rear tubs and a lot of small parts - emblems, mirrors, etc.
