How best to install chrome trim in windshield rubber
As title sez. I tried doing a search but apparently did not describe the
question correctly ??? I started with the rear glass and placed the rubber on the glass first and got the trim on all but last 10 inches and could go no further. Here is what I did, started with long bottom strip , then up one side then across top and that is the place it became difficult to open the slot. So what am I doing wrong ? Will windshield be as difficult ?

I always put the rubber on the glass first. You will find it much easier if you have at least one other person to help. Two is even better... It also depends on what brand of rubber you have. I always use Precision brand. LockDoc

Did the rubber on glass first, and using Precision brand.
Should I start putting the trim on in a different spot ?

Re: How best to install chrome trim in windshield rubber
Not sure the fit is good however.
After installing the windshield on the truck it appeared to fit Ok until I looked inside. The top of the rubber where it meets the curve of the head liner there is a gap about 1/2". Going to let it sit over night with temp change to see if there will be any change.
