Exhaust manifolds

Has anyone used Allstar Performance ALL34200 manifolds? I have a SB400 and like the "stock" look so I put the ram horn manifolds from my 283 back on. I was wondring what benefits the Allstar units would bring to my 400? I have since fixed the "ugly" valve cover breather problem, so no more oil leaking onto the driver side manifold....

Re: Exhaust manifolds

I changed over to a set of 2 1/2" corvette ramshorns. Im not sure how much of a preformance advantage you would gain. I feel your stock ones will work fine.

Re: Exhaust manifolds

The difference doesn't sound so big when you think about 2" and 2-1/2" outlets but visually it's a lot bigger. When I bought some parts rescently I spotted this Corvette (64-65) manifold sitting in the bed under some junk and bought it for $40. Now I'm looking for it's brother. Just look at what a little over a 1/2" can make.

Re: Exhaust manifolds

I really like the looks of the manifolds Dino runs on his builds. Can't remember who makes em tho. Maybe he'll chime in.
