Hello great site Ive been sitting on the side for about a year now and finally became a member here.Alot of nice Trucks and very informative owners.
But I have a question about motor mounts

.....I know this has been asked many times in the past and I have gone back to reread the previous post but I am still baffled.
So here goes will 1986 motor perches and motor mounts from a C30 bbc 4x4 work in the 67-72 chassis.
I have read that I need the 72 only perches, and also the 73- up perches work fine.Some say the perches bolt in but sit an inch high and other post say you need to only drill one or two holes.

Please help I want to make sure I have all the parts ready when I go to do this.This is a long water pump 454 a/c equipped motor that I have Hooker Headers for. My truck is a 1971 c10 2wd Cheyenne Super.
