Houston Junk yard score!!!

got my self a vinyl cover Head liner in descent shape today for $23.00
I have been searching for over a year now and couldn't believe it when I saw it lol!

I saw 2 others also in ok shape. 1 was in a single cab dually and the other was in an 85 LWB.
I also found a really nice textured dash bezel in a 70's square but didn't get it because my dash is shaped diff on my 86.

You need to get away from your area there on the coast. Clean sheetmetal is cheap as dirt a bit North of you.

Can't do it, long story.

If any of my Texas neighbors to the north have a lead on where I can get one please PM me. I have one from a 4x4 in fair shape (solid floors, corners, rockers, filled in a bit on the firewall but not too bad) if someone wants to trade or needs one.

We have them here in San Antonio. We have about 20 junk yards here that have a bunch of cabs that are pretty clean. Alot of the trucks that go to the junk yards are because they are wrecked, but the cabs are still good.

Re: Houston Junk yard score!!!

I go to LKQ off Northville dr here in North Houston . It's a 3 min drive from my place.
they still have several trucks there. I pulled a power steering pump off a nice one 2 days ago. I noticed that the frame was cracked pretty badly @ the Gear box. must be the reason the scrapped it. other wise it would've made a descent daily driver.
