Thanks! |

Re: blue interior pics
Well here is a pair of '72 Longhorns. What exactly are you looking for? Something that shows the color blend like these? Or something else? From the outside, interior trim color is pretty muted. I'm sure I have a black with blue interior I just can't find it. So enjoy this black Cheyenne, they look so nice without the billboard.

Re: blue interior pics
Thanks, yeah I'm just looking to get an idea of what looks best with the blue. My 70swb has a blue interior and I'm in the body work stages. Trying to decide on color.. I'm leaning towards a dark/gunmetal grey, but I don't recall seeing that combo.
Also, I would be interested to hear people's thoughts on the inside of the cab being the same color as the exterior, and only the upholstery being in blue?(like the above pics) versus the complete interior being a single color such as superflysteiny's: |

Re: blue interior pics
Knew I had a black with blue picture somewhere,'72 Cheyenne Super shown. As to how to do up the colors, that is your call. In '70 most of the interior metal would be painted same as the outside. The only solid would occur if the vinyl was the same as the exterior. Me I like the black with the blue. But then I like white and white as well.

Re: blue interior pics
If you like dark gray, consider the '70 Chevelle color #17 Shadow Gray. Take a look here.

Re: blue interior pics
'75 Olds Saddle Gray Poly (PPG 2743) is a good looking dark grey I've used before. It's what I'd call a charcoal or gun metal. It would look great with a blue interior. I think I'd keep the paint all the same,inside/out. Something about the red makes it right. But,other colors,it would really depend. Red was used extensively as an accent color throughout the '50s and '60s,as well as being a hot rod thing. Maybe a custom upholstered interior would look good all one color, but with the stock design it just looks right to the eye for me. It's like that with 2-tones for me. I love the factory 2-tones but, generally,I don't care for 2-tones in other colors. It takes special combination for me to like that. It could be I'm just so used to looking at these trucks how they cane and like that so much.
