1969 Chevrolet C20 Custom Camper (my first classic truck)
I'm new to the forum. Thought I'd share pics of my truck. Its a 1969 Chevy C 20 Custom Camper, 2wd, 350 V8, wooden bed. I paid $ 1600 for it. I'm wanting to fix it up and repaint it. Any ideas or thoughts on the condition and price that I paid?

gidday mate and welcome to the board .
from where i'm sitting in new zealand that seems a bloody good price and the condition seems consistant with what we get shipped out here. a couple of good hammer blows on that drivers door should pop that dent out!!! and i would lose those big mirrors! mark

nice to meet you Mark! Thanks for the feedback! I'm excited about it. It's a good looking truck for its age. I'm thinking about changing the mirrors too

nah, I say keep the mirrors! Goes with the "Custom Camper" badges.
Looks like a good price from what we can see. How's the wood in the bed?

nice looking piece I could be wrong but I think it may have a small dent in the door but a lot of them have bigger rust spots than that. Looks like a fair price and a real nice starter truck, welcome aboard

to the board from Utah!
Looks like it is in great shape to me. How do the floorboards and rockers look? I don't think that's a bad price (compared to what I've seen around here). |

The bed has some rust on the tailgate and around the wheel wells and the wood just needs to be refinished. He replaced the original bolts holding the bed down with stainless steel bolts. Yeah I was debating what to do about the mirrors. I was thinking about repainting them white
