3-point seat belt install help
I cannot be this stupid. I got the 3-point seat belt and the mounting plates for my 64 C10 from So-Cal and they finally came in. I was looking at them and doing some dry fitting and I can't figure out how they should mount. I know it's much simpler than I'm making it but I have just spent an hour going over every way to make it work and I'm coming up with nothing. I can't find anything with good pictures to show me what to do anywhere.
Please help me. |

Re: 3-point seat belt install help
I can see how it would work easily if it only had the two bolt holes, but it has three. I think I might have a way to make it work figured out, but I'll have to give it a shot tomorrow.

Re: 3-point seat belt install help
The third tab bolts down to the floor near where the retractor is mounted.

Re: 3-point seat belt install help
I didn't know these trucks came setup for a 3 point belt.
When did they start putting even 2 point belts in?

On my 66 I had to drill a hole and get the mounting bracket up there somehow.
