Brake pedal going to the floor
Brake pedal is going to the floor , it not touching the floor but it feels likes its going to . The brakes still stop , is the normal for these trucks or is the master cylinder or booster going bad ?
How can you tell if its the booster or master cylinder? Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Brake pedal going to the floor
Sounds like your master cylinder is going bad, if so you may see some brake fluid leaking where.it mounts to the brake booster. You may also want to check all brake lines, calipers and wheel cylinders for leaks. When the booster goes bad the petal is hard to push like when the engine is turned off.

Re: Brake pedal going to the floor
Make sure they are bled. if not worn pads/shoes. then check the master cylinder. I think there are 2 chambered so if you were on 1 and it fails it could cause this.

Re: Brake pedal going to the floor
you need to replace the bleeder or get a new caliper, once you bleed the lines I'm sure your problem will disappear.
