?distance from cap to block
Can anybody tell me what the distance from the cap to block is on a sbc 350 roller.not really sure if its 2.6416 thanks

Do you mean the from distributor mounting flange (intake manifold) to the base of the distributor cap mounting flange on a stock large hat HEI???? You need to pose questions a bit clear....

Sorry. From the main caps where the crank sits I need to know if I have to line bore before I put the crank bearngs

There is a special tool for measuring if your main cap bores are out of alignment. You can also tell if your main. Bearings are wearing unevenly. Usually if I have to line bore an engine I also go and torque plate hone and square deck and bore to the crank centerline.
