check this out new toy a un molested 72
well i got lucky today i came across a untouched 72 custom lwb i dont like long beds but this one is so nice i had to have it its been sitting around since 1994 so a guy got it from a little old lady this year and put a new gas tank new fuel lines new carb new brakes all the way around and new corvette rallys and tires it runs great vary little rust org 97404 miles 307 auto p/s p/b when i say i got lucky i mean $1000 bucks drove it home 22 miles on the hwy at 70 check it out and let me know what you guys think

Goodness man, you stole that thing! That is a beautiful buy for $1k. Congrats!
Looks a lot like mine, same color, interior, saddle blanket cover, refurb dash bezel, cracked steering wheel, etc..But mine is a SWB w/o side molding. Have fun with it....or sell it and make some money. Once again, a great buy. |

Man,that's an excellent driver! That's a sharp looking truck. It should get reasonable mileage,too. The only thing I'd do is change the steering wheel to be right side up.
I'll never get how can someone "hate" a longbed. Maybe it's just a poor choice of words

Nice Nice. I'd leave it as is, well except flip the steering wheel as mentioned by special-k and maybe clean up the engine compartment. Happy driving.

I'm not a longbed fan either but wouldnt say i hate them they do have their place. Even I would make a exception for that one. sweet truck,awesome price you did great!
