Let me see your Black Trucks

Well originally I was going to paint my truck with Cardinal Red but I have decided to do a $100 paint job build with Rust-oleum... Since their red is not close to the cardinal red and I don't want to repaint the interior I am going to turn the truck black.. Now the question is flat black or gloss black...

Let me see your pictures of both!! Preferably on 78 models but any will do....

Thanks

Re: Let me see your Black Trucks

If you dont go gloss,go satin NOT flat. Flat paint shows stains and chalks up.

Heres my 77...

Re: Let me see your Black Trucks

there are varreing degrees of sheen (shine) Gloss>semi gloss>Satin>Flat.

Semi gloss would be glossier than satin

Holy crap, everyday I sign on here there's another color specific thread started up! Just search the forums, I'm pretty sure there's at least 3 black truck threads started. And of course after my rant Photobucket is being retarded and I can't post my black truck...

Re: Let me see your Black Trucks

I'm partial to satin. Please reconsider doing a rattle can job! Every speck of that stuff will have to be removed when you decide to re-coat with "real" paint. Google "Hot Rod Flatz".

Here's mine...........
