New Guy, Thought I'd say hi

This is my '71 that was my dad's. I got it from my mom after he passed in 2010 so it wouldn't get sold. It has a 402 w/auto, 66,700 orig miles (according to dad and PO), it came out of Fla a few years back, I don't know alot about it other than it was dads pride and joy. Some day I hope to pass it to one of my kids. Body is pretty solid, needs minor work which it will get when it really needs it. For now I'm going to fix what has to be fixed and enjoy it on sunny days.

Re: New Guy, Thought I'd say hi

Thanks everyone. Eventually I need to fix a small hole in a rocker panel and a couple other minor body issues. I recently ordered a CPP four wheel disc brake setup for it because there are numerous issues with the brakes and I wanted to upgrade to a safer and more modern brake system. Right now it just doesn't stop, I have decided to stop putting money into a hacked up brake system and just fix it right once and be done with it. It also needs a new exhaust next. I will work thru the probs in order of importance and cost.
