Wrong defroster actuator
I am attempting to replace the defroster vacuum actuator but it looks like I cannot get the correct actuator. The one I got is AC Delco 15-71438 for GM P/N 1996686, but it won't work in my truck. My vacuum line hooks up inside the box, and the back of my box is sheet metal, not plastic. Does anyone know where I can get the correct actuator for my 83 C20? Or should I modify this one?
