60-66 bodydrop

for those who have bodydropped 60-66 c10s before and did it by moving the cab mounts down quick ? when you shaved the top of the frame did you shave it all the way down to the rear cab mount or did you just cut the cab floor? any ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated thanks in advanced....
i noticed that the cab floor actually goes up about an inch between the front cab mount and the rear mount....

Re: 60-66 bodydrop

How much did you lower the body mounts? I lowered mine 3/4 of an inch. My front pinch weld at the firewall just touches the frame and the body front floor board is close but I don't think it will touch. The only other modification I had to do was cut a hole for the Porterbuilt trailing arm crossmember to clear under the seat. I don't know how many 60-66 trucks are out there that are body dropped?
