American racing torq thrust rims.
I finnaly saved up enough money to buy some touq thrust rims for my 71 chevy truck, 17x8. That was 2 weeks ago and now I told there is a nation wide shortage of them. I was told the main distributer did not order enough. Has and one else have herd the same thing as I have. And it seemslike that they are comming in about the first part of June.

Re: American racing torq thrust rims.
That's a sign from above to stick with 15"ers...
Sorry to hear that - I've experienced that also where I finally get ready to order something and I'm one minute too late, it's out of stock. Haven't heard about the AR deal though - but if they are that popular, it won't be long. |

I like 15s,too,the way they were designed to be. But,waiting a couple weeks isn't a big deal is it?

Re: American racing torq thrust rims.
I have the tires 275/50/17 and was told through e-mail sometime around the first of june. I did put 2 1/2 droped spindles and 4 " droped rear springs in back. Now this is a long bed so 17's all around was required with the drop. I was tired of it beening so high and wanted a low stance. Now to sell the soft 8 american rims and dunlap tires 235/70/15 5 0n 5 3/75 backspace. These I have had for 1 1/2 yrs so someone will get a good buy. Hope to have everyting by 6-9 for my 1st car show of the year. I will post before and after pics and you will see what a differance my truck will make.
