59 fleetside hood hinges
hood hinges are loose. when under hood the just arent tight enough to hold the hood up. already replaced the springs but that didnt help.

did the same with mine. New springs did not help.
Best thing I did was buy a repop set no more troubles. You can get the originals rebuilt but it can be expensive.

This is temp fix if you have torches heat at the swivel points until cherry red and blandish them with a 5 pound sledge against a solid metal surface, it works til you can afford new ones. I think if you post on the other section you might get more responses then the build section.
