Emergency Brake, Stopping the Beast...
Guys I looked through the FAQ for an answer and couldn't find it. If I missed it I'm sorry. When I get in the FAQ my ADD kicks in and I end up reading ten things I didn't intend to read. How many have swapped their 67-68 to a foot controlled E-brake? I am imagining it to be pretty straight forward, but I thought I would ask the group. Is there anything I need to look out for or avoid?
I want to make sure I pull all of the correct brackets from a parts truck.

Re: Emergency Brake, Stopping the Beast...
Not to hijack this thread, but since the OP has the answer I have a similar question...
The black paint on my hand ebrake is chipped and falling off. It's about the only thing in my cabin that needs some TLC now. Is it a pain to take it off and repaint it? What type of paint should be used? |

thanks 70cst. Thought I would try here.. If I don't get anything, I will go ahead and start a new topic. Didn't want to pollute the board if I didn't have to...

Re: Emergency Brake, Stopping the Beast...
I will throw my opinion your way. I think the handle removal would be pretty straight forward. I would use a semigloss black, chassis black, etc. You could always buy a large piece of heat shrink tubing over the handle. That would make it flat black and you wouldn't have to worry about chipping. 2 cents
