4l80E/neutral safety switch

What are you guys using for a neutral safety/back-up light switch when using a 4-speed automatic? I have the switch on the column but it is for a 3-speed automatic and doesn't work correctly with the 4-speed transmission. When it's in park you can start the engine but when you move the shifter to reverse you can still start the engine. It isn't until you move the shifter a bit farther toward neutral that you are unable to start the engine. Can I just adjust the switch or is there another solution?

You should be able to make it work. Park, rev and neut are almost, if not the same on both trans. I have done a few 350 to 700 swaps with no problem. It should work with the 4L80E also.

Thanks for the information. I was getting worried I had one more problem to solve.
