Re: now i have a dana 60 question
I'm dont know about flipping a case...I'm sure if it can be done it would be a lot of work...you may be able to use some type of Ford transfer case..what are you going to be using for a trans? I would stay away from that Dodge Dana 60, if its a drivers side drop it must be a 94 or newer..they have unit bearings and are coil sprung. Unless your getting a real good deal on that Ford 60 I would keep looking for a GM version...it would save you a lot of work!

Re: now i have a dana 60 question
There is also some differences between the GM D60 and the Dodge D60. Like already stated it must be a newer one if its driver drop. I think it would be more work than what its worth, i would try and find a GM dana 60 and then have much less work ahead of you even if you have to spend a little more to get a GM axle.

Re: now i have a dana 60 question
But the transfer case/transmission adapter is going to cost way more than that $300. Buy the GM D60 and don't try to reinvent the wheel. Oh, and $800 for a GM 60 is a pretty good price.

I only hold parts for people who put up a non-refundable deposit myself, too many people never return. Conversely, giving my word is worth more than money, so I ask for a specific time frame
