My new 65 Fleet
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I finally received my new 65 last night from the transporter. It's bright!
It's had a lot of work done on it. The body and interior is in excellent shape. It's been lowered nicely, has power steering, front disc brakes, a 350/350, Swan auto shifter, etc. Inside has been painted a nice metal flake orange. I've been cruising around the forum and there's an enormous amount of info here! There are little things that I'll have to do to the truck but luckily all of the major issues have been addressed. Good since I really don't have time at this point to do the major restores you guys are into. Do expect some stupid questions from me though! |

Re: My new 65 Fleet
Welcome.
Your truck is beautiful. I like everything I see. It looks like someone already installed backup lights too. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: My new 65 Fleet
Sun was coming through the garage door so the interior pic is a little washed out but you can kind of get an idea of how it looks.
Second pic is it sitting in my garage. Funny, being the University of Kentucky and BMW fan that I am my garage is all decked out in blue and white. The orange truck definitely is a huge contrast! I'll have to work some other orange into the garage. Just don't call it Tennessee orange! I'm a pool player and the truck is the color of a 5 ball. "5-ball" just doesn't have the right ring to it though! Scott |

Re: My new 65 Fleet
Appreciate the name suggestions!
If it had white interior I could go with Dreamsicle. Hey, maybe me riding in it would make up for the lack of a white interior. It will come to me. |

Re: My new 65 Fleet
Okay so...
welcome to the forum, please make yourself at home. that truck is absolutely gorgeous, congrats on the acquisition I am looking at getting new rubber onto some new (old) wheels that I picked up. I am looking at 275/60/15's on the back, and 225/60/15's on the front. Any chance you could post up a couple of pictures from behind (the truck, not the wife), would like to see how the 275/60/15's will look installed. Would also be interested to know how the PO went about the lowering. Thanks!
