Show me your grill

I'm gonna start looking for a crew cab project truck, and the grills on the 73-91s seemed to have changed so much through the years I don't know which one I like the best, so lets see the pictures and list what year of grill it is (cause it might not be the year of your truck, right?).

Re: Show me your grill

I went with an aftermarket billet aluminum grill and mounted fog lights in the would-be factory location for turn signals in 4-headlight models. The face of the grill is polished and the rest is painted flat black.

Re: Show me your grill

This is a '73-'74 grille, however I have painted the inside portion black (which is not a factory scheme) and the horizontal bars are kept silver. The grille is installed on my '78.

Re: Show me your grill

I've seen a fairly nice diagram floating around on the forums that shows the front end changes by year for the 73-87's. I'll be damned if I can find it after searching. Maybe someone has it bookmarked or something and can post it. It does a fairly good job showing the differences in the front ends, grilles and lamp bezels through the years.
I'll keep looking.

Can the 79 center moldings be added to a 77-78 grill? If they could be found separate?

Also the drawings shows all 77-79s with the intergrated headlight bezel/marker light which isn't right.

Re: Show me your grill

Never seen a grill like mine before, got holes for driving lights, I'm guessing the PO had some there cause the ground wire is still there but never had lights there.seen some illegal square ultra bright l.e.d lights for quads I might put in.
