What Front Axle is This: 1972 K20

It is on a 1972 K20 4x4.
Picture was from an e-bay listing from quite a while ago.

Re: What Front Axle is This: 1972 K20

Definately looks stout. Almost looks like a center section of an irs front made into solid axle. But most of the irs cases are aluminum. Never seen one like that either.

Re: What Front Axle is This: 1972 K20

Unfortunately all I saved was the axle and the spid picture from that listing.

The spid has all the usual options you see on them. Nothing unique about it.

I wish I could remember what it had for lockouts. But if it wasn't the standard big hub spicers, I would have probably saved a picture of that to go with the axle.

It's one Frankenstein built axle I think.

Looks like a front axle out of some piece of equipment. I've seen one of those before, trying to remember what it was in...

Thanks for posting over at pirate4x4... hopefully someone recognizes it....
It was ebay listing number 330618652885 from October 2011.
No google results for that listing number.

Who? I said it was the only picture I had, and that it "was"(past tense) from an ad. Seems self explanatory to me.
