New guy
Hey guys, Im a newbie.... Nice place. Can you tell the differences between a 72 GMC and a 72 Chevy short and wide? I got my eye on a 72 GMC. Thanks

2 headlights or 4, and some badges. Basically they are the same. There are some other small differences but not much.

Fenders and core supports are different. However, the whole front clip would interchange. Doors, boxes, gates etc all interchange.

my 72 GMC has leaf springs . i was told most Chevys have coil rears .

I have a 70 GMC Shorty with coils. I think you could get either / or on Chevy or GMC. It just depends on the truck I guess. I would rather have coils personally. .. but .. I wouldn't turn away from a leaf truck. We need pics! ![]()
