Re: Best Garage Floor Paint to use????
If you have the budget I recommend polyaspartic coatings.
When I built my shop, I researched the hell out of floor coatings. Paint, epoxy the whole gamut. I went with poly, for a bunch or reasons. It's data sheet shows it holds up to just about everything. Brake fluid, grease, oil, gasoline, antifreeze, transmission fluids, all of the typical stuff you'd find in a garage/shop. And so far that's true. I've spilled just about all of the above on my floor and it cleans right up. Plus it's UV stable, unlike most epoxies, so it'll never 'powder off.' It's very strong. I've dropped all sorts of stuff on it from heavy tools to parts with nary a scratch. It feels like it has a little 'give' rather than a hard shell. That may be the flakes, but whatever, it works and looks great. It also installs fast. No long curing times. I went with slide-lok brand, as my contractor had a good relationship with the installer/dealer. http://www.slide-lok.com/products/ga...oor.php?top_na The biggest drawback... it's spendy. But in theory it'll only ever have to be done once. That's my .02 anyway. -edit- I also forgot to add, the flakes add a bit of texture, so it's not as slick as straight paint.

Re: Best Garage Floor Paint to use????
I painted mine 15 years ago with regular oil base enamel, yes it is chipped over the years but held up pretty good.
A friend of mine used one of the new epoxy coatings and has just one regret, wished he hadn't used the chips. With the chips on/in the coating it's hard to find small items if you drop them on the floor.

Re: Best Garage Floor Paint to use????
THAT is a fact. The chips do camouflage tiny parts... like small flat washers... that don't cast much of a shadow. $#%#@!

There are several good brands to choose from and I'm not going to recommend one, but I will recommend that you make SURE the concrete is cured. Minimum 28 days before coating.
