WTB 8 inches of 2" rubber fuel neck

I refuse to fund the local u pull yards as they mostly have been bought up by a steel scrapper corporation (prices nearly doubled). I need 8" to a foot of rubber fuel filler neck/hose to complete my fuel tank conversion. Anybody have a scrap left over they want to sell?

Never thought of that! The local parts stores only sell it in 3' minimum lengths. Thanks for the tip!

Check around your area for an industrial hose supply house.
I buy mine from a local shop that caters to forklifts and big rigs, and they have a huge supply of all grades of hose.

In case you can't find anything in your area, perhaps you can mail order what you need from the place I go to.

www.hose-man.com

I will look around for the exact ID size for you, I have a picture of the hose I use around here someplace.

Re: WTB 8 inches of 2" rubber fuel neck

I went to NAPA (the real parts store) and i got the exact same 2" hose that was on my Suburban. It happened to be a coolant hose according to the description. It was used as the fuel hose because it doesn't have a constant presence of fuel running thru it. When i spoke to the original owner of the suburban i bought, he told me that hose had been in place for about 12 years. The only reason i took it off was to swap bodies and the hose wouldn't come off. It was still very pliable and no cracks or anything wrong with it.

I tried the other parts stores, and they either didn't have the exact same size hose. And the closest size they had would only sell it in 3' lenghts.

Try NAPA!
