PS pump and Gear box Q
So, I have a new PS pump and Hoses + a new gear box for it, the instructions say flush the system. So how many of you guys actually flushed it and how did Ya'll do it?

If you want to flush it, cut a short piece of 3/8 hose and plug it, then attach it to the return inlet of the p/s pump. the hose that normally goes there then goes into a catch can. start the engine, turn the steering wheel back and forth, when the oil going into the can is clean you have a flushed system it may take a quart to do it.

if everything is new, i cant see you having any problems with trash in the system, but what chevytruckluver advised would work great.
