Long Lost Trucks In East Texas

Just thought I'd throw this out there....

I sold my 63 Short Step (spare tire fender) to a guy in Tyler, Tx. back in 88. Odd thing is he sold it to another guy who stopped making payments and then got shot and killed trying to repo the truck from him... true story. Last time I saw it the truck had a V8 and was painted a funny black/yellow...

I got another truck, a Maroon 64 Short Step (spare tire fender) and drove it for a few years before the wife (now ex wife) made me use it for a down payment on a mobile home back in 1990. It had a mild 350 and a BW T-10 4 speed with a shorty Corvette Hurst shifter, bucket seats and chrome reverse wheels. I think I remember it having a oil and temp gauge mounted in a little block of wood under the dash.

Not looking to get these back... just wondering if they were still out there and being enjoyed...
