Re: pitman arm nut size?
I know on the later C10's it is 7/8-14. If no other info is found, then you could pssible start there. I would imagine it might even be the same on the older C10's like yours.

Re: pitman arm nut size?
crazy enough, an Advance Auto online chat rep. sent me the link to this thread...I'm converting my '66 C-10 to power steering using a '72 gear box & pitman arm...since I don't have the nut to connect the two, I've been trying to determine what size is needed

Re: pitman arm nut size?
I bought my power steering gear box and pitman arm from advance, just kinda figured the nut would be with one or the other... So, I be needing a nut as well.
My question is... Do I need a washer as well? Or just a nut? What grade nut should I be asking for? Thanks in advance (no pun intended)

Thanks Phillip, appreciate the input.
What is new with Black Betty? Haven't seen any posts for a while, your truck has a beauty paint scheme my favorite

Re: pitman arm nut size?
Nothing much. She's just chillin' in dad's garage. Gotta figure out a way to get him back on it. Thanks for the compliments. It's only driver quality paint, but I'm growing to like it that way more & more. The shiny black paint on my Tahoe is a PITA to keep looking good!
