Frame paint

finnal starting to have some nice sonny weather up here in NE and im earger to get working on my 65 k10 again. only problem is im up to painting the frame and im not sure what brand of frame paint to use or how to apply it to the frame. i tryed one called rust sheild last year and paint brushed it on, but it seems to just chip off over the winter. what do all u guys suggest for frame paint and whats the best way you guys find to apply that paint?

Eastwood rust encapsulater works good. Used Rust Oleum enamel on my last project and it has held up good for what it is. The best is a good automotive paint but is spendy for a driver.

My vote goes to POR15 That stuff is awesome and super tough as well.

i used ppg ALK- 200 industrial enamel $42.00 gallon with hardener and can be mixed in any non metallic color

I had my GTO frame powder coated. The body guy that did my GTO also mentioned using POR15 as an alternative, and he used it on his own cars.

i used rustoleum oil based from lowes. brush on. dont know what to expect but it was only 10 bucks a quart.
