Wiper motor question

Still working on trying to figure out why the wipers aren't working. Found power to the blue wire at the dash switch shown in picture. Found power at the motor for the blue and yellow wires shown in picture and found power at the wiper fuse. Would that mean that the motor probably is bad?

64shortbox....by the way I tried putting a washer behind the switch bezel between it and the front of the dash and it made no difference. If I did it right.

fasteddie I've read that there is only one wire on the actual switch itself. Could be wrong but that's what I read. I do notice that the back of the switch has two tabs but only a blue wire attached. Not sure now if it's single speed switch/motor or now???

The 2 terminal switch would be either for a 2 speed wiper motor or single speed wiper with windshield washers. I only have a single speed wiper but I bought a 2 speed switch with the squirt push button in the middle and my wipers work fine. I think I used the HI speed terminal just because I could crank the wiper knob all the way over and not have to think about where the position of the switch was. But I did pull & connect the blue wire to both terminals and it the wipers would work no matter which terminal I had the connector on. Just for testing - with the ignition in the "ON" position run a jumper wire from your blue wire to a good ground & see if the wipers come on. IF that doesn't work - disconnect your plug at the wiper motor its self run a hot directly from your battery to the Yellow terminal on the motor - run another jumper directly from your blue terminal to the ground on your battery - if your motor is good your wipers should start running. You can pick up a cheap OHM meter from Harbor Freight for about $20.00 to check things out proper like. Also I have color wiring diagram I can email you if you send me a PM. I can barely read it on full screen and I would have to shrink it down to 25% of its current size to post it here. Hope this is of some help to you.

I ran a wire from the blue wire at the switch to a good ground and the wipers started working. They're one speed. With the wire grounded they run all the time and won't shut off. I'm guessing then it's the switch. Does that sound right?

Make sure the switch body is grounded. I made that mistake.

Grounded the switch and it did not work as normal. Gonna try to find another switch. Thanks
