will a muncie 4 speed with granny low handle a 310 hp small block 350 in a drag race

i have a 1963 chevy pickup with a 310 hp 390 ft lbs of torque small block 350 with a muncie 4 speed with granny low will the trans handle the power of the 350 when drag racing.

In my opinion, I wouldn't use a truck grant for anything but pulling. They are usually slower to shift than car trannys, and that slows down a drag truck.

it is rebuilt with the top of line gears and syncros but i was still worried about blowing it taking off the line i know it is going to be hard to shift but i need to keep it cause i love the way the granny low is even though it only goes 5 mph
do you think i could out run a 1984 chevy dually with a 454 big block with an automatic trans at the drag strip i am running a 4.11 posi rearend.

The SM420 will handle that much torque with no problem. But as already mentioned, they certainly don't shift very fast. A worn out one would probably shift faster than your rebuilt trans.
