1964 C60 Cab and front ascross scales

This came in ascross the scales today... It was the city of Tahlequah's and was driven on pavement only. It had 27,000 actual miles, the Guy that hauled it in said he put nearly all the miles on it and knew the truck most of it's life.

The City cut it up with a torch and then loaded the cab upside down on a trailer with a backhoe!!!!

It had perfect rust free doors.... doors are still very useable but have some damage, just a shame since they were perfect.

Cab is ruined, windshield is ok, seat is good with the bottom being recently recovered.

Hood got the worst being pushed by the backhoe.

Someone got the engine, and the rest was cut into short iron

I wish they would have just hauled it in whole and not dinged up the doors and ruined the cab and hood, but I will get what is left

Love the door "art" (which is what it is now that it retired.)

Stripped the C-60 cab out this evening after work. I got the wiper motor, speedo assy, doors, ign. switch and keys, seat, all the body bolts since they were still zinc coated.

And other misc pieces

Re: 1964 C60 Cab and front ascross scales

since that cab is not useable as a whole i think if i were you i would cut out the sections that always rust on these trucks.i would get the headliner panel out as a whole unit, the visor over the front windshield, dash, firewall panel and anything else that was useable.hey if the back top of the cab and roof panel are all that is damaged i would still get it and replace the roof and back cab panel since everything is rust free on this cab.rust free cabs may be common where you live but they sure are not around here.hope you save it,maybe if you do want it you could pass it on to someone else that can.i hate too see it get crushed if there is anything that you can salvage from it.
