My New 68 !

Hey guys I just got a new 68 SWB Chevy. Its a roller with no drive train but man is this thing in good shape. I already have a 68 that still needs alot of TLC. So i saw this and could not pass it up. I am going to drop in my 355 Small block and 350 tranny from my old truck to this new one and sell the old roller.

What I really like about the new truck. The body is pretty much done, complete interior, AC, Tilt ( not installed ) , Power brakes, Power Steering, big rear window , New tires, New Ralleys, New brakes , New complete exhaust. The engine bay / firewall is painted. Looks like the chassis is painted as well. Truck is lowerd a few inches ( probably torched coils )

Can anybody tell me what kind of ralleys these are ? And what kind of rallys came originally on 68 trucks.

Pics of my old project.

Pics of the new roller.

Re: My New 68 !

Looks like a great truck to start with. Congratulations on the find.

I don't know about the rims. I have some ralleys like those and it would be great to know what type they are...

Re: My New 68 !

That looks like a good start to a truck. The rallys are 73 and newer and the center caps were around 76 or so i believe. No rallys came stock on these trucks.
