Which GMC fender
I have decided to buy a new driver side fender for my 69 GMC. I know there are many companies that advertise them. I just want to know who has had a good experience with fit and finish of an aftermarket fender and where did you purchase it?
Thanks Mike |

Re: Which GMC fender
I'd try the parts boards for a used OEM fender first.

Re: Which GMC fender
It looked like you had a good deal going there with chevydog66 on a left fender. From my take it seems to be a good deal. The OEM fender and the ride for the price of a repro alone. Do the shipping numbers and see what a repro would cost shipped, maybe Manes. Then get back in line and firm up a number with chevydog66. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=524451&page=2

Re: Which GMC fender
Hi Tim
I had the company doing my truck look at the pictures, and he said by the time it is blasted and repaired it would be cheaper and faster to buy a new one. So I am taking his advice, I did look at one from Southern Kentucky Classics which looked good. Mike |

Re: Which GMC fender
I bought my right fender on my '72 Chevy from Southern Ky Classics. They are 80 miles from me though so I saved on shipping, but had to pay the Ky Tax. I was satisfied with the fit. I was able to get he gaps pretty close without much effort. Of course I started from the frame rails up. It has been a long time coming.

I'd still look for a 68 Chevy or 68-72 GMC fender and keep it OEM.
