Front sheetmetal question

[Rusty one]

I'm ready to pull my engine & trans to get it ready for a dropmember. Thinking it would be easier to take the front end sheet metal off first. The hood is easy enough but cam someone tell me where the bolts are located to pull the nose off in one piece.

two or three bolts at the firewall, couple bolts under the cowl panel, one bolt inside fender well by exh manifold, one bolt lower rear fender. I think thats it.

you forgot the two under rad support

Also disconnect the wiring harness.

and the small sheet metal piece on the lower inner fender below the str column and the rad hoses

Oh yeah the wiring harness? Does that just unplug from the firewall?

you have to learn how to do some of these things for yourself. if you are going to continue to work on these things, that is how you learn . trying to figure things out for yourself. these vehicles are not complex

I have to agree with Padresag, however, be sure to bag and tag the bolts/nuts and small pieces so your project can go back together.
