vin info

guys are the vin#'s stamped on the frames of the 55-57 chevy and gmc trucks? where at? i need cal. vin verification for getting title. thanks

There are 2 places on the frame both on the drivers side on the top of the rail. One is under the cab and will be had to see the other is about where the front axle crosses the frame.

Located top of left frame rail here and centered under cab on top of left frame rail.

I have found that if you use an IFS or mustang II frontend it will partially hide the stamping towards the front
