Compatibility of 73-87 Front Coils with 67-72 C10

I was having trouble doing searches here... error messages??? anyway I couldn't get a definitive answer if you can interchange stock front coils between 73-87 and 67-72. It seems like this is no problem.

Is there a height difference between the coils and year of truck?

I believe that you can. I have 72 coils on a 75 front end and they look identical to the 75 ones. (I put drop springs in).

Re: Compatibility of 73-87 Front Coils with 67-72 C10

Dont mean to hijack, but is the inverse true? I need new springs in my 71 now, so was going to buy stockers. At some point in the future, im thinking of switching to 73+ 3/4 lower control arms and doing a lift spindle. Would the 71 coil springs work with the newer control arms?

thanks

It's more than just back through 67. All front coils from 63-87 interchange.
