Hey Guys I just picked up a 1986 Chevy C-10 and I WILL be turning it into the show truck I know it can be but I havent even started yet and I am running into all sorts of problems lol. So for starters does anyone know where i can get some custom designed parts machined machined (namely a grille, rear-view mirrors, and side mirrors)? also im not to good at photo editing and or design but i do have the finished work in my head if someone can help me with that to

Re: Project Reaper

well you have to start somewhere and a lot of info on the board. Tons of different type of mirrors and guys on here can probably machine some stuff. Not sure who though

Re: Project Reaper

ya none of the local ones can do it i havent expanded my search as of yet but will be trying the knoxville and chattanooga areas next right now everything i have tried with in a thirty minute drive can't/won't do it. but im not worried i think ill look for a shop in the nasville area so that when im up at the nats this year i can just swing by and pick them up! so ranger if you know any place in your area shoot me their name and number so i can hollar at em!

Re: Project Reaper

I actually do not...You may want to ask those guys in the White House thread...Since they know a bit more and have been working on vehicles in the area longer...

Re: Project Reaper

sadly no there has been no progress quite the opposite actually i was driving it the other day and it went into catastrophic meltdown when it got slammed into by another vehicle which long story short persuaded me to sell the truck for scrap and start the search for another truck that i can turn into a reaper.

Re: Project Reaper

Mid 80's it looks. That's in the range of when the 2.8 liter V6 was around, total garbage motor coupled with an automatic transmission. Just my .02 though.

Well I figured you knew what it was.... woops. There is a part of the site forum here just for the miniature trucks and blazers.

From what I see in the photo if they are asking more than $400 walk away. And for that $400 it better run like a champ.
