The Kansas City Star is doing a truck photo contest, and naturally, I entered a picture of my '63. There are only 36 pictures, so maybe I have a chance. Anyway, you do have to register, but you can vote everyday through Friday. If you can gimme a little love, I would really appreciate it! Thank you sooooo much!

If it were a "show us YOUR truck" contest, hands down you are the winner! Sadly, it is a photo contest. Yours is a nice photo, but there are a few there that are very artistic photographic entries.

Honestly, I don't think this contest is either a photo contest or a truck contest. It's a social media contest. It is way too much of a hassle for anyone off the street to sign up and vote--people just aren't going to do it. The worst picture there has just as much chance as the best one. It just depends on how well someone is able to persuade their family and friends to sign up and vote. And unfortunately, I've had several friends who said they would vote, but they refuse to sign up.

That being said, I did grab that shot of my truck by that pretty red house in a gated golf course/lake community before security was able to run me off. That has to be worth a vote or two, right?

You got my vote. Some photos were not of the persons own truck, should be weeded out. A pic of your daughter, girls, papa, dog, albeit in your truck is still not a pic of your truck(ie that's a pic of fender, tailgate, seat, etc).
