Want to change sides
Ive had 12 orso dog 100s in my life (2 at the moment) and ive grown tired of the high cost and lack of parts. (Thanks Iacocca). so im going to go the 67-72 C10/20 route soon as i can dump my dogs.
I just want a lwb v8 ac od to start off with. Last edited by 70cst; 06-15-2012 at 11:35 PM. |

Re: Want to change sides
This board has a great group of guys and a combined several THOUSAND years of experience. Parts are relatively cheap/easy to find and there is a large (and growing) aftermarket.
The best part about these trucks is the community behind them. Every time I go to a show I find the 67-72 guys and make fast friends. Welcome aboard! |

Re: Want to change sides
That looks pretty good, It is a '67 though not a '68. Note the small back window and no sidemarkers.

Re: Want to change sides
First off, Welcome to the brighter side from east TN.
Next that looks to be a pretty decent old truck. Just work out a few bugs, and she should be good to go. One question, though. Why do you want a long bed over a short bed? I'm not trying to come off negative or bashing on you. Just curious. Either way, I think you will enjoy being a classic Chevy owner, and you will enjoy being a member here. I hear what your saying about those Mopar guys being snotty lately. I've noticed alot of Ford guys getting that way lately, also. Most Chevy guys are a little more laid back and easier to get along with, no matter what you drive. Me personally, I like them all. In fact, I used to think that GM stuff was the best ever made and everything else was junk, until I grew up and realized that they're all junk. What I mean by that is all makes have downfalls, and they're all mechanical machines that have equipment failures from time to time We're glad to have you here. We hope you find a nice truck and stick around. One thing to remember, we're picture hounds here, so don't be too shy with the pics! -EDIT- My neighbor is building a couple D150's, an 84 & an 85. I have pics of the 84 if you're interested in seeing them.
