Shifter Question
Hey, I have a Turbo 400 trans in my 49 4400 truck and i need to order a shifter for it, I would like a Lokar Floor Mount Shifter. Can anyone recommend which one would be the best, i am not using the standard bench seat but a later model bench mounted to the floor as i am 6ft7.

http://www.lokar.com/product-pgs/shi...html#falseLink Scroll to the bottom and click on the part number link. It'll take you to different lengths of shifters for TH400 as well as other trannies. You probably will want the 23"

I thought the 23 might be what we want the bench seat im using is quiet thick. Its just hard to return it if it is wrong from Australia. Shane

It's a matter of personal choice but in your 49 I think the 23" would be the best. Just my opinion. Your truck, so you get to choose.
