emblem stud repair
Has anyone repaired studs on emblems or know if even possible? I have a nice pair gmc custom fender emblems with broken studs and thought maybe someone else might have had same problem and repaired it

You may have to explore adhesives. Maybe try a push nut if there is enough stud left.

grind the old studs off smooth with a die grinder then jb weld some small bolts from any hardware store in their place then after it hardens you can install the emblems and put nut's on from the back

You can also grind them smooth, add a glob of the jb weld. After it has dried, drill and tap it so that you can screw your bolt into it from the back side. The stuff works great.

I just did the JB-Weld trick today on my 68 front Grill Bowtie...
It worked perfectly... and now I have a "real" nut to work with as well Give it a shot, it was super simple and effective!
