Need help locating this!

This cross member / brace's is from a 1987 chevy two wheel drive, it's located at the very front between the frame rail's, it was badly bent / cracked and I tried to straighten it, but I am not happy with it. The only one I could find locally from a junk yard was perfect until they distoryed it when they removed it! So I am out of OPTIONS locally and was just wondering if someone knew of a good place to locate one? Thanks!

Agree.

I don't think it carries a lot of load, since most of the weight goes through the front suspension crossmember. The front bumper also helps to tie the front of the frame together.

So - if you can straighten this one up enough to be "beautiful" then I think it will be sufficient. It just needs to hold up the proportioning valve and some brake line clips and that's about it.

Thanks for the reply's, I think I will try one more time to make it work! I thought this would be very simple to straight out and make it look descent, I was wrong, the curved part is kicking my butt! Maybe I was just looking for the easy way out!
