Re: WTB vacum guage
You considered using a vacuum gauge from a '60s GM car and just refacing the gauge? I used a vacuum gauge from an Oldsmobile and refaced it. I have a detailed explanation of how I did it in my '64 build thread. It was really easy, and I had less than $40 in the entire conversion, including the price of the Oldsmobile gauge. It looks 100% factory, too.
I know you've been looking for a long time, and those things are hard to find. I was in the same boat and I had to "think outside the box".

Re: WTB vacum guage
i believe this is the type chevyrestoguy is referring to http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=527354 - but I left the gm car face on it cuz I liked it. But, gives you an idea what one may look like if you haven't seen it. The original matches the other gauges better though, and sounds like that is what you're holding out for. Hope you find one, apparently they are hard to come by.
