What part is this?

Whats the part called that is plugged into the transmission and your speedo cable connects to it? Mine is leaking transmission fluid and need to be replaced.

Thanks

Re: What part is this?

I think it's called a speedometer gear housing. If it's leaking, it probably needs a new o-ring.

Re: What part is this?

Could be a speedometer gear reducer.

Re: What part is this?

If it has the reducer, those attatch "to" the transmission and "could" leak there. They go between the end of the speedometer cable (that attaches "to" the transmission) and the transmission. Same thing, prolly needs a new o-ring.

it not leak, the leak would be upsteam.. in the part shown
and be flowing through the reducer and cable
