Finally Got the one I wanted!!
A few months ago I posted a pic of this truck and thought I was going to get to buy it. In the last minute the guy backed out on me and I didn't get it. Well the other night they called me and said they were ready to sell. I went over as fast as I could and picked it up. It is a 1967 with the panoramic back glass and AC!! It has very very little rust. The rockers on the driver's side have a few pin holes and the rocker on the passenger side has about a dime size hole in it. Even the floor doesn't have any rust.

Re: Finally Got the one I wanted!!
Yes it feels great!! As for the plans.... I am not going to do much at all with the body I really like the looks of it. The engine was shot and I've already pulled it and the powerglide trans out of it. I have a 350 Vortec reman thats still in a crate that will soon be finding its way under the hood. Also I've got a 4L60 that I am probably going to put in there unless I can find a 350 or 700 for pretty cheap.
There is a some minor nic nac stuff that I need to do like disc brakes and the lowering methods (heating the springs up until it sits on the bump stops) of the PO is not up to my style. But it won't cost that much more to lower it right when I buy the disc brake setup.

Re: Finally Got the one I wanted!!
Great truck, and hello from down the road. Maybe I'll see you at some of the Super Chevy shows in Memphis? Good luck with your "new" truck!
