Tailgate upgrades

I put new chrome tailgate hardware on last night and added white lettering to the "CHEVROLET". Here is a before and after shot. What do you guys think?

Do I keep the white lettering? This was a cheap sticker kit from LMC and if I like it I'll get it painted. I'm thinking the white on the gate goes well with the white trim down the sides.

Thanks,

Scott

Re: Tailgate upgrades

I like it as well. It really brightens up the back end and makes it look deluxe like the rest of the truck.

Re: Tailgate upgrades

I like it too, not a fan of the chrome letters, like the white, how do they look close up?

It's really growing on me. I think the white lettering is the way to go.

The sticker set from LMC was only 9 bucks so I thought what the heck.

It surprisingly looks pretty good up close. Except for a little wrinkle here and a micro bubble there. I got better as I went so the C H is probably the worst.

I think having it painted is down the road a ways. This should hold me through the summer.

I'd say for the money if you are contemplating putting some zing in your gate the vinyl stickers are a good cheap way to see if you like it. There are a bunch of colors.

Oh, and from 4-5 feet out you cannot tell it's a sticker.

The white letters, the chrome chains, the whole deal looks just right on that truck to me!

Gotta have the white lettering just as Chevy intended.
